Share some projects made with Philonotis Seriata moss. This is one of the most beautiful moss ever seen. Themselves are atrractive enough in any terrariums.
This moss is a very lightweight and soft moss. They are full of air like feather.
I made some new projects because I found some on the vertical surface of cement stair when I walked around in the half-abandoned village. That was after weeks of rains and the continuous sunny days had begun. Thus, I collected some to the following simple projects.
Then I resailed I have not posted my previous Philonotis Seriata moss yet.
Now they are all there. The building videos will be posted later.
Can you see the similarity?
Yes. 1. choose a porous rock. 2. apply a sheer layer of red clay which will make them grow better. 3. put the rock bottom sinking in water.
I use a cloche with large air hole on top to keep necessary moist and vent.
Disadvantage: there are obvious life circle watched. I mean, you will watch them grow, green, yellow and new green. If they turn yellow, please just leave them there.
If you have a large, container, put multiple porous rock planted with this moss and you will watch birth-death-birth circle of moss in a small scale.

Building video. (I did not use red clay because there are some soil let under the moss. Based on my experience, if you transplant moss, some soil, even it is sheer layer of soil will make them survive well.
